W. Moore, H. Walker with Jakob and Melchior Anderegg on July 15, 1865. A grandiose itinerary that unfolds in a wild environment. After the huge Col Moore landslide, for a certain period it was no longer possible to travel the original route and it was necessary to fall back on the Gussfeldt variant, which is unfortunately exposed to the fall of seracs. Now it is again possible to access the spur from the Moore hill. The upper part of the ridge is truly beautiful with impressive views of the south-east face of Mont Blanc which is the only Alpine wall comparable to the Himalayan ones. There are up to three possibilities for exiting the route, depending on the conditions of the serac. For the descent, the normal route of ascent to Mont Blanc is used.
