In the heart of Monte Rosa, the Castore marks the border between Italy and Switzerland. An easy mountain for novice mountaineers, but still a 4000 meters that still requires a good physical preparation. From the Quintino Sella refuge on slightly inclined slopes you reach the Felik pass at 4061 meters. From the hill a characteristic ridge leads to the summit.
Program
- Day 1
Departure from Gressoney in the locality of Stafal; by cable car you can reach the hill of Bettaforca 2672 Mt. From here you go up the ridge that delimits the valleys of Champoluc and Gressoney. The path near the refuge is equipped in some passages, it takes about 2: 30/3: 00 hours to reach the Quintino Sella refuge which is located at 3585 Mt. Dinner and overnight stay at the refuge. - Day 2
Wake up just before dawn, breakfast. From the Quintino Sella refuge on slightly inclined slopes you reach the Felik pass at 4061 Mt. From the hill a characteristic ridge leads to the summit in about 3:30. The descent is carried out on the same route as the ascent.
The price includes
